All levels of pottery students - emphasis on wheel throwing Instructor - Denny Howard Tuition Cost $72 for initial four class sessions $18 per class session after first four sessions $5 per hour for open studio time Clay & Materials Cost (includes all glaze & firing charges) Stoneware - $25 for 25# (light & dark clays available) Porcelain - $30 for 25# Class Sessions Wednesday mornings 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 noon Tuesday evenings 6:30 - 9:00 Thursday evenings 6:30 - 9:00 Maximum of four students per session Open Studio Sessions Open studio time is for practice and finishing work. Open studio time arranged by appointment Other information Majority of work will be fired to cone 10 in a reduction atmosphere. Students will have access to over 10 different glazes. Students will have access to all studio equipment (after instruction on use) which includes; 5 potters wheels, slab roller & clay extruder. All students are invited to participate, at no additional cost, in alternative firings, including; raku, smoking and vapor/saggar firings. Private lessons By arrangement, $40 per hour.
